RUBI Story #1

Logos evolve. They are refreshed, modernized, and adapted to new trends. But sometimes, they stay exactly the same – because they were right from the very beginning.

Our logo has remained unchanged for more than 10 years. In fact, it continues to serve as the foundation and inspiration for the logos of our subsidiaries.

Its most distinctive feature? The color – pink.

In the railway industry, a sector traditionally dominated by yellow and orange, that choice may seem unusual at first. But this color has a story of its own.

In August 2014, even before the company was officially founded, the logo was created as a thank-you gift – designed by Andrea Gmünder (Feinform).

The idea behind the color choice was simple: do the opposite.

If everyone else was using yellow and orange, we wanted something different.

That’s how PINK NEON (Pantone 806) became part of our story.

Ten years later, one thing is clear: it was the right decision.

Across countless projects and applications, our logo continues to prove just how versatile it truly is.

RUBI Story #2

In 2019, just four years after the founding of RUBI Bahntechnik, we took an important step – establishing our first subsidiary in Asia: Rubi Railtec Asia Pacific in Thailand 🇹🇭

This marked the beginning of our international growth, which later led to the creation of the RUBI Group with numerous subsidiaries around the world.

Today, together with Marco Maurer, we look back on that time:

“The founding of RUBI Railtec Asia Pacific in early 2019 was, above all, the beginning of a completely new environment with enormous potential. What started as a small setup back then has developed into a platform from which we now drive projects across Asia and beyond. What stood out most was seeing how quickly real opportunities emerge with the right network, trust, and local understanding. For me personally, it was a confirmation that growth always happens where people are willing to explore new ground and take on responsibility.”
