Delivery, Track Construction, Infrastructure

RUBI Bahntechnik actively supports the development of transport infrastructure in Ukraine and carries out projects in cooperation with local cities and state institutions. We handle transportation, equipment delivery, technical maintenance, as well as engineering solutions for tram and railway systems.


2021–2025: Trams for Vinnytsia

On behalf of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), RUBI Bahntechnik transported and accompanied 31 trams to Vinnytsia. Together with VBZ, we supplied VTK with equipment for technical maintenance and spare parts. The project contributed to the modernization and reliability of the city’s tram network.


2023: Rail Safety System for Ukrzaliznytsia

Thanks to an additional “Winter Support for Ukraine” loan, approved by the Swiss Federal Council and Parliament, SECO provided an extraordinary emergency funding for the delivery of Schwihag rail safety systems for the urgent repair of five selected railway lines. The project budget was up to 14 million CHF. RUBI Bahntechnik oversaw the contract management and supervised the delivery of the track components.


2024: Trams for Lviv

RUBI Bahntechnik handled the transport of trams and necessary equipment to Lviv. The project was implemented on behalf of SECO and aimed at modernizing the city’s electric urban transport system.

2021–202X: Technical Translations and Support in Ukraine

We provide technical translations in the field of railway construction for the cities of Vinnytsia and Lviv, as well as for Swiss companies such as Arthur Flury, Schwihag, and others. Support includes documentation and consulting for infrastructure projects.


2024–2025: Urban Planning for Vinnytsia

On behalf of the city of Vinnytsia, RUBI Bahntechnik was involved in the planning and delivery of a tram section. The project included international procurement and delivery of rails in close cooperation with the city authorities and contributed to the further development of public transport in the city.
